UnExplored Wayanad.

As I have already told, I was blessed to be born in wayanad, I am even luckier to study in a school which took the students for Nature Safari regularly. I have deeply experienced the unseen beauty of wayanad through this.Students from the primary class to secondary class were part of this. From the primary classes I have been to Muthanga wildlife sanctuary, Soochipara Water Falls, M S Swaminathan Research Foundation,Forts made by Britishers etc. From the highschool classes I have been to many places, Among these Brahmagiri hills and pakshipathalam  still brings fresh memories to my mind.So I have decided to blog about these today. Brahmagiri Hill, is a scenic tourist attraction. The top of Brahmagiri Hill is well forested and has a lot of wildlife.Thirunelli temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu, lies on the side of Brahmagiri. Wayanad : Mayakshetra in  Gods own Country. Wayanad is a derivative of the term Vayal Nadu, where Vayal means Paddy fields and Nadu the land, comprising it to indicate a land of paddy fields.
